Horse Training & Development

Educating the horse with correct biomechanical development to improve balance for riding, while sustaining mental and emotional soundness with empathetic methods of training.

Whether you have a youngster who needs to be started under saddle, a mature horse who you’d like to have refined, a horse who is challenged by a task or activity, a gaited breed, or a trail companion, the basic principles of dressage (the slow progression rather than competitive-style dressage) can benefit the mind and body of the english, western, and driven horse.

My objective in educating horses is to create a safe learning atmosphere where they feel comfortable to try, rather than fearful of making mistakes. Every horse deserves our honesty and respect.  Developing a balanced, supple, strong mount with confidence means they will be comfortable in their work for years to come.
